um, yeah, that show wasn't last night. [but really, i didn't find out by going there and just finding ben and brad sweeping the floor and no one else there then sadly look at the show flyer only to discover that i was confused and the show is not until the next night (that being tonight--the 15th). really, that's not how i found out.]

SO there is a delimma, go to the show or have a party? Solution: in place of the party, we can all go out to eat together around 7ish and hang out some, then cruise on over to the show at 9. What do you guys think?

so, even though jesse and sonia are out, i'm thinking of probably having the get-together on saturday night. friday is a show at space elven ten that i think i'm gonna go to so i can pass our flyers for the WPP show on the 20th. so is saturday night good for everyone else?

i've got the brand new version of trivial pursuit, and i'm thinking about picking up this game called word blind which is freaking awesome. feel free to bring snacks or something--especially you vegan kids who can't eat any of the good stuff i'll be munching on. maybe i'll buy some celery sticks for ya or something. gimme a little blogger RSVP action here.

My vote is Thursday because I will be in the San Antonio Friday through Sunday. Would you keep a second version of the SS Soccer Mom if you were a soccer dad?

oh yeah -- something else. i don't know if you guys heard about this skiing accident where a guy died. my brother was there for a medical meeting (and to ski), and he was 10 feet away from these guys on the slopes when it happened. he was the first to the scene and had to breathe for the guy who hit the tree until the paramedics came.

craziness.

when i read the part of jesse's post about the "auto-tuner" thing, i read it out loud, then almost fell off my chair laughing. well, my weekend was eventful with a drive to temple (south of waco) then to ft. worth, then back to l-town. nephews and neices everywhere. i even got to go to one of my nephew's soccer game. i see how people get addicted to that, it was fun. maybe i can be a soccer dad someday and drive a pimpin minivan with the little soccer ball hanging from the rearview mirror.

anyway, now to the important stuff: I think I'm gonna throw a big shabang here at my apartment at the end of this week. but the question is, when would be best for everybody? I know jesse is out since he's leaving to go catch big fish, but for everybody else...thursday night? friday night?

it's gonna be nuts...a pole and dancers and illegal substances and cake and ice cream and yes, even trivial pursuit maybe. you don't want to miss it.
