maybe the methadone was really just a sugar pill?

I just fell in love. I just finished a writing center tutorial with one of the prettiest girls i've ever seen. I think in those situations, in the post-tutorial questionnaire, i'm going to start including the question "and what is your phone number?" claiming that we as tutors have to do mandatory friday night dinner followups to all our tutorials. it will work. really, it will.

It seems my addiction to the blog is coming back in full force, the methadone isn't working.

Late Night with Conan O'Brien. Hands down. (sorry travis, i thought we had decided that we weren't going to get emotionally involved...and i'm holding up my end of the bargain even if you don't)

Since the cat is out of the bag and Jake has realized that it is all about me, I'll take this time to tell you about my day. I'll make a numbered list for fun:
1. Taught 70 students the importance of reading rhetorically.
2. Finished writing a song I have been laboring over for about two weeks now.
3. Worked on my thesis for 7 hours...straight.
4. That's really all, but I wanted to add a number 4 to round out the list.

cruisin to the tunes of Hot Rod Circuit "Sorry About Tomorrow."

this town was cool for one night. early july.
childhood friends have all grown up.
and i don't think i could ever remember a time
that this place felt quite like home.

yes...jason you are correct...i think your #1 interpretation: "they think of nothing but themselves" is true of about 99% of all people.

and could Sopranos night been any more uneventful than it was? maybe it was just me. and dang it, i can't type or read the word "Sopranos" anymore without automatically seeing the "r" as a handgun pointing down.

and so concludes a completely pointless post.
